Hello from Belfast!

Hello families! We arrived in Belfast around 7:30am local time yesterday (which I guess is around 2:30am est). Both of us slept on the flight, although she more than I. We found the bus to Belfast with no trouble and slept there as well. (The bus, as it turns out, is a very nice way of getting to Belfast from Dublin.) Upon reaching Belfast, Gail texted our host, who picked us up and brought us to the apartment, which is right near Queens University Belfast.  Our spot is clean, well lit and includes all sorts of modern conveniences.  It’s great–look for pictures in the near future.  After a nap, we went to a Fordham orientation/reception (where I was the only non-Fordham student), found some groceries with some of the cohort and then returned home and went to bed.  Funny thing is that at no point in the night did it really ever get dark…

So, more to come later.  Also, you will notice the site’s appearance–don’t get too used to it.  There will lots of changes to it over the next few days.
